Custom Projects
One of our guiltiest pleasures is to update and customize YOUR wooden pieces.  Whether you've purchased a bare wood stool, believe in the durability of a well-worn dresser from your childhood, or find a great deal at a garage sale (our favorite!), we can give it new life AND implement your preferred color schemes.  Below you will find pics of custom pieces done for our painted polka dot clients.  If you'd like to discuss a potential project,  please let us know via e-mail (molly@paintedpolkadot.com or jill@paintedpolkadot.com).

Little Grace in Fishers asked her Mommy for a "vanity" for her third birthday... Grace's Mommy used an old family desk from Grace's Grandma to fulfill the request.   We personalized the chair with a "G," so Grace would know that it was made just for her!

Sweet Paige in Fishers will be taking her new big girl desk, designed to match the beautiful patterns and textures of her room, to her new home in Pennsylvania!

This wooden child's rocker belonged to four generations of girls, dating back to the late 1800's.  It was sanded, re-spindled, primed, painted, and re-upholstered.  For a special touch, the names of all four generations of ladies were painted around the edge of the seat.  This is one of our favorite projects... breathing new life into family treasures.   This chair is currently being rocked by Amelia and Calista in McCordsville.

This child's table and chairs set was purchased from an old antique shop and was custom painted to match the decor of adorable two-year-old Sophia's bedroom.  Although it's difficult to see in this picture, the dark and dated table and chair set was first primed and painted in pink and sage green, then re-painted in a creamy white.  The final finish was distressed so that the pink and green finish peeked through the sanded areas.  It now resides in sweet home Alabama with adorable Sophia.
